Job Description

Join a high-end private label wallpaper production company as a Shipping Customer Service Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on work style. The position involves both physical tasks and computer-based work in a fast-paced, energetic environment. 

Location: Naugatuck, CT 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide customer service support, maintaining long-term positive relationships 
  • Communicate with customers and carriers, answer inquiries and problem-solving 
  • Process orders and shipping labels using proprietary software 
  • Verify packing slips and order details for accuracy 
  • Ensure orders ship on time or ahead of schedule 
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace 
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Customer service experience preferred 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • Hands-on work experience in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods 
  • Proficiency in learning and using proprietary computer software 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Commitment to customer privacy and business integrity 

Additional Information

Job Type & Compensation 

  • Pay: $18-20/hr. 
  • Temporary Position (March 2025 – August 2025) 
  • Full-Time | Monday - Friday, approx. 9 AM - 5 PM
