We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and a passion for precision. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, including lathes and CNC presses, to produce high-quality packages and products. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills to contribute to our production goals.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain a variety of machines, including lathes, CNC presses, and other equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and CAM programming to perform complex machining tasks.
- Use a micrometer to measure and verify product dimensions and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure machines are in good working order.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate and verify measurements, weights, and other production data.
- Work in a team environment to meet production targets and achieve quality goals.
- Package and prepare products for shipping or distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a related machining or manufacturing role is essential.
- 1 year of CNC machining experience or successful completion of our Machine Operator training program - required
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with CNC lathes and presses are highly desirable.
- The ability to perform basic math calculations and read technical documents is necessary.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility is beneficial.
Skills:
- Proficiency with CNC machines.
